The article says “The 240Z could hit a top speed of 84.5 miles per hour in 17.1 seconds.” Maybe it’s just awkwardly worded but this seems to say that the car’s top speed was a mere 84.5 mph. I know from personal experience that the 240 could go well over 100 mph.

Yeah, that sort of thing does matter to me and 25 mpg on the highway sucks for such a small car. I’m sure they can do better.

Yeah! Mugen’s big in the race and drift scenes. They might not have the PR machine that Merc and Nissan do for their in-house tuners, but they’re definitely a cult classic of race tuning. Now if only you could take your car back to Mugen after every track outing and have them go over it again…
